BONAWATT × Oephi
Polish electronics and Danish loudspeakers came together in one system at Audio Video Show 2025 in Warsaw. With Oephi, we presented a setup featuring the BONAWATT Triton tube hybrid amplifier and Transcendence 2.5 loudspeakers. Our aim was a sound that reveals the details of a recording while preserving the flow and emotion of the music.
Our Polish-made Triton hybrid amplifier used its internal DAC and PHONO MM/MC cards. A Benny Audio turntable fitted with a Polish-made Homogenix Gold MC cartridge completed the analogue side of the demonstration. This was an opportunity to show what our modular integrated amplifier can do in a system using both digital sources and vinyl records. The Oephi loudspeakers brought this combination to life during shared listening sessions with a wide range of music.
Wojciech Pacuła of High Fidelity noted the presentation's mature, rich sound and Triton's modular construction. Meanwhile, Lasse Svendsen's Lyd & Bilde report praised the amplifier's performance with several other loudspeaker combinations at AVS Warsaw, where BONAWATT electronics powered systems from other manufacturers.
