BONAWATT × Qualio
The world premiere of the Qualio IQ30 loudspeakers was one of the reasons to visit room 102 at the Sobieski Hotel during Audio Video Show 2025. The new model was demonstrated with Polish-made BONAWATT electronics. A bi-amping setup combined the Tamesis MK2 amplifier for the midrange and treble with the Triton hybrid amplifier for the bass. The resulting system also attracted the attention of international journalists reporting from the Warsaw show. Link: High Fidelity.
The IQ30 combines an open-baffle midrange and treble section with bass from a large, enclosed 12-inch driver. This design offers an interesting opportunity for amplifier matching, revealing both spaciousness and subtle decays as well as the scale of the low frequencies. The demonstration system also included a Lampizator DAC, as noted in the Soundnews report. Link: Soundnews.
Soundnews highlighted the IQ30 premiere and its particularly successful pairing with BONAWATT amplification. The Audiophile-Magazine reporter also recalled this combination very positively, describing the Qualio loudspeakers as natural and faithful to tonal colours. We are pleased to have been part of the premiere and to have demonstrated a system built around products from Polish manufacturers. Link: Audiophile-Magazine.
