SYSTEM BAX™ - BONAWATT MODULAR EXPANSION CARDS
BAX™ is Bonawatt’s proprietary modular expansion card architecture, developed for the Bonawatt Triton amplifier and future products from the brand. It allows the audio system to be expanded with dedicated internal modules, adapting the functionality of the device to the individual needs of the user.
BAX™ Bonawatt Adaptive eXpansion
Thanks to the BAX™ architecture, the amplifier can be equipped with specially designed modules such as a high performance digital to analog converter (DAC), a phono preamplifier, balanced audio inputs and additional expansions that may become available in the future. Each BAX™ card is designed as an integral part of the device, ensuring full integration with the amplifier’s electronics, power supply, control system and user interface.
The BAX™ system operates on a Plug & Play basis. Once the selected module is installed, the device automatically recognizes its type, activates the appropriate functions and expands the menu with new options. No manual configuration, software installation or service intervention is required.
BAX™ means that a BONAWATT device is not limited to the configuration chosen at the time of purchase. It can evolve with the user’s system, changing needs and future audio technologies, while maintaining the integrity of its design, ease of use and distinctive BONAWATT sound.
